The CLOVERHEARTS,
a super energetic Celtic punk n roll band with roots in Australia and Italy. We have been told, if the Dropkick murphy´s and Greenday would have an offspring, well this is how it would probably sound like.
This orgy of whiskey, Guinness and bagpipe madness will take place at the glorious place of perdition called “Wild at heart” in Kreuzberg.
Band bio
The story so far… From false friends, to (temporary) sobriety, to lovable junkies, to the world’s worst public transport. However you like your Celtic Punk’n’Roll – The Cloverhearts have you covered. Founded by Australian frontman, Sam Cooper and former piper Chiara de Sio, the mission statement was always simple: Blaring bagpipe anthems and twisted tin-whistle ear-worms. Think ‘Dropkick Murphys meets Green Day’ and you’re right about there. Whilst the 2020 pandemic robbed the band of a year’s worth of tour dates, the band shows no signs of slowing down. The Cloverhearts are fresh out of the studio with an arsenal of new Celtic Punk ear worms, and plans of many more rock shows (and hangovers) to boot.
THE SUPPORT BAND
We are happy to present the troupe of music-loving regulars straight out of the legendary Revolte Bar from Friedrichshain as a support band on St. Patrick’s Day. With a love of folk to punk from all over the world and a large portion of self-mockery, they are the first gig of the evening. From “Pogues” to “Ramones” and from “Feine Sahne Fischfilet” to the “Dropkick Murphys”. Fun will be guaranteed.
